For decades, holograms have lived in the realm of science fiction—a dazzling promise that always seemed just out of reach. Today, that changes. Revolumix is proud to unveil our breakthrough volumetric display technology: a compact, full-colour, naked-eye holographic platform that brings three-dimensional visuals off the screen and into the physical world.
Why Volumetric Matters
Traditional screens flatten everything to two dimensions. Even the latest VR and AR headsets still separate viewers from their surroundings. A volumetric display, by contrast, builds the image inside a volume of space, so you can simply walk around and examine every angle with your own eyes—no glasses, goggles or compromises.
Engineering Brilliance in a Desktop Footprint
After years of rapid prototyping and more than a dozen hardware iterations, our team distilled the technology into a form factor small enough for any desk and quiet enough for any studio:
- Size & weight: 12 × 12 × 23 cm; under 1.2 kg
- Visual fidelity: up to 1.3 million voxels with true 16-bit colour
- Brightness: clearly visible under standard 500-lux office lighting
- Acoustics: < 55 dBA at one metre
These specs add up to a first in the industry: holograms you can view comfortably in a well-lit room, without the whir of loud fans or the bulk of specialized rigs.

Practical Magic Across Disciplines
Because Revolumix renders objects in free space, it opens possibilities wherever depth and collaboration matters:
- Surgery & healthcare – Rotate vascular networks or organ models mid-procedure, hands-free.
- Education – Turn molecular bonds, planetary orbits and archaeological artefacts into walk-around teaching tools.
- Engineering & design – Inspect full-scale CAD assemblies, spot interferences and iterate faster—no headsets required.
- Digital art & entertainment – Stage immersive installations or interactive exhibits that captivate audiences from every angle.
Looking Ahead
We’re packaging this core technology into our first product line later in 2025 for both professionals and forward-thinking consumers.
